We were up at 6am, Clint and Xavi had to be at the resort by 7am to catch the boat to Sorong. Rowan took them in the dinghy, there was no room for me, they had two enormous suitcases, now almost empty as they mainly contained stuff for us. They got there safely in time and dry! Rowan got back to PolePole and the rain started shortly afterwards and did not stop until after 5pm. There have been terrible floods the opposite end of Indonesia with loads of people killed, and terrible floods in Sri Lanka too. The typhoons are having an impact here too. Just as well our guests have left, we spent all day on the boat, we did not get off at all. We heard from Clint that they had a very easy boat trip under cover and got into their hotel in Sorong for a late breakfast.
Good catch up day, got loads of laundry done and hung it up in the guest cabins to dry. It was a good movie night, we watched ‘Lets don’t go to the dogs tonight’ a book we both so enjoyed set back in the days of Rhodesia getting independence. The little girl acted very well, but we thought the book was better.
