We all got a bit more sleep last night and beginning to feel a little more energetic. The winds have been great in the high teens, we had Sporty Spice up (our Code Zero sail on her new furler), we were soon eating up the miles, averaging around 10kts for quite a while.
A few chores were accomplished during the gentler wind moments, we managed to get on the roof and re thread the sail bag onto the boom. We still have a little section to do that we could not reach. Otherwise always a surprising amount of admin to get sorted especially with the Airbnb bookings of Mettingham taking off, ride on mower giving up the will to live, and chasing plumbers to fix the cellar pump!
We finished off the day with a wonderful Lobster dinner, hand caught by Phil, what a treat! We did have the fishing lines out behind us today, never got a bite, I think we were going too fast!

The photos always flatten the waves, big long waves

Always surprising to see so many birds this far from land

Our lobster dinner (don’t look Hannie!)

Just so you know where we are! Vanuatu is such a small bunch of islands it doesn’t show up, but is just to the right of New Caledonia
