We had our usual Sunday late start, and cooked breakfast. Rowan caught up with his folks who were in great spirits. I was not very impressed to hear his father saying he really thought we should be heading back to the UK by sea rather than flying!! Luckily Rowan put him right, and told him he didn’t want a divorce!
Old beady eyes Rowan then spotted that a rather unusual metal monohull boat looked like it was dragging it’s anchor. Once we watched for a few minutes we could really see it heading for the rocky shore line. A French guy in the Cat next door also spotted it and launched his dinghy, so we thought we better go and help as he was on his own. He managed to alert the occupants, two young French girls who were downstairs, obviously quite flustered by surfacing on deck and finding themselves heading for the rocks. They managed to sort themselves out, but it added a little frisson of excitement to our morning. It was very nearly an accident.
Had a great chat to the girls and caught up on their news, Luke is suddenly very busy with work. Han is on her first leave, at the same time as the Swedish camera man, I’ll say no more!! But all very happy her Leopard and cubs seem safe and sound. Phoeb’s man, Sam has bought a van, done up for camping. Found it in Wroxham, kitted out by a boat builder, so looks wonderful. Coco our dog has taken up residence in it, he just loves our camper van, obviously this was bringing back very good memories! Her ducklings fledge in two weeks time and are loving their paddling pool!

Han’s leopard, it fell off the first time it tried to climb the tree.
After lunch we had our Sunday Norfolk lockdown quiz which was good fun as usual, pleased to say we did not come last this week! Feel a little sad though, being the only family without any kids.
Big news is that we’ve booked our flights home today. BA are flying direct from Grenada from the 1st of July, so we’re on the flight. Bizarrely Premium economy was £300 cheaper than economy! The web sites all seem a little crazy at the moment, Virgin Atlantic’s was so bad, Rowan gave up on it. Fingers crossed the flight actually happens, the air lines all seem to be in dire straights. It is so much better than having to do 3 flights to get home via Paris.

Another gorgeous sunset with the added bonus of a crescent moon, that lasted no time as it dipped below the horizon at about 8 pm.
