A very gentle start to the day as we knew we weren’t going far today. A lovely gentle sail with the Genneker up and roaring along very comfortably. Sam proving a very able seaman.

We got to the gorgeous long white beaches of Calabash Bay by lunchtime which gave us time to play! We got out Rowan’s brand new inflatable stand up board, Sam’s surfing skills came to the for. We went and joined them on the beach, and had a lovely long walk to the very nicely done plantation style resort and had a pub lunch. Fun chatting to a few very old salty sea dogs! The beach was like talcum powder, absolutely stunning and so good to be stretching our legs at last.
A lovely calm restful mooring, blissful!
