Sleeping between the Pitons

We had a lovely gentle sail down the coast after leaving Ti Kaye.

Lovely villages and dramatic scenery as we continue South.

We finally spot the Pitons

Boobies faithfully following us, thankfully no shitting on the boat today!

We decided to go on a marine mooring ball between the pitons, there was one other yacht, the rest were all day boats. It was incredibly hot, the great gusts of wind were a welcome relief. We went and had a snorkel under Petit Piton, the visibility was fantastic and seeing the steepness of the mountain continue under the water was amazing, lots of lovely coral, sponges and fish.

We went back to the boat via the resort jetty and were immediately met by security, we are definitely not allowed anywhere near the resort. We were surprised to see the resort humming with people, I suppose it is Easter week end. With only international guests they are definitely not sticking to the new Covid curfew times!

Afternoon sun catches Petite Piton

A palm leaf clad. fruit and veg man appears on the scene, had to buy something from him, luckily he had an enormous Sour Sop which I was very happy to buy.

Dramatic sunsets every evening like a daily show!
