Coco Clouds

You know things are getting repetitive when clouds start reminding you of home. Today’s fluffy clouds reminded Rowan of Coco our fluffy old dog. We had a chortle thinking how he is going to cope now that the lot at home have added chickens and soon ducklings to the menagerie, it will all be competition for his human attention!

Very slow day and not quite so hot, as the East wind has picked up. Such a relief.

Our Scrawled Cowfish reappeared today next to the boat which was very exciting, he is pretty exotic for the marina. Also spotted the turtle a couple of times. It is rather lovely sharing our swimming pool with all these creatures, I don’t even mind the Barry the barracuda who seems to terrify a lot of people. Even the fish seem to totally ignore him.

Our covered pool!

Had a good catch up with friends today, everyone seems to be in similar lock down isolation and wishing for life to get back to normal.

We ate the last of our Mahi Mahi fish tonight, which we marinated in some Ponzu sauce, really delicious. Rowan keeps dangling a hook with meat over the side but the fish nibble away at it and never get hooked! It will be weeks before we get fresh fish again.

Finished my book ‘Educated’ in bed, I found it compelling reading. I could picture the environment so clearly, having passed though Idaho where we spent time with people preparing/anticipating the dramatic end of America the Great. No wonder Trump has enormous support there.
