was celebrated with two sightings of Osprey one on a different pole, with a fish and the other on the normal pole we spot him on, but with no fish this time. We had got up in good time so went right down the far end and took the only street up that we have not been on before. It took us right up high again, on a dirt track that takes you to the top for a view point of the last plot to sell up this road. It was a great 360 degree view. On our way back the Osprey had left the pole so went to see if there were any fish remains, and there were two tails and nothing else! We had to stop and say goodbye to all the regulars, 5 in total including a South African that we meet on our daily walk, that slowed us down a lot!

Rushed back to meet the customs Officer at 10 am so that we can sign out and leave tomorrow morning. Rowan gave him a bar of chocolate as he has been very sweet and helpful and charged us nothing as C Virus is beyond our control! He was thrilled with the chocolate, we thought it might be a winner as he is a rather large man!
Rowan has been getting everything charged, the Genaker Sail up in anticipation of the light winds tomorrow.
Sorted a few things out to get the boat ready. Had a combined chat to all the kids as we wont have comms for about a week, just our emergency satellite, good to hear everyone in good form. Han just suffering from mozzie bites and baby leopard overload, Phoeb’s is very broody with all 7 ducklings hatched plus their rescue ‘little rebel’, and Luke has got himself a yoga mat and doing yoga with the Downward Looking Dawg app!
Decided to make a chicken curry for something different. Had our last swim with the crowd and said our goodbyes. Everyone is getting itchy feet to move on, but the Trans Atlantic crew can’t risk leaving before May because of weather
We had our Beccles couple and the other English couple over for farewell drinks.
Early to bed, up tomorrow at 6 am to set off.
