Monday 28 August – Rainy day in Paradise

Putting on a large load of washing in the morning sunshine brought out the clouds. It was incredibly hot and humid with no wind, we had the fans up high last night. It was a good day to get chores done. Rowan inflated the paddle board and had a good paddle to some coral on it. We said goodbye to Waterlust (the South Africans) and hope to keep in contact as they are doing the same journey as us to Tonga, around the same dates.

Clouds building up behind Rowan

Mastering the paddle board, only got wet once!

The clouds came over late morning and the rain arrived in the afternoon, it was a relief to have cooler temperatures. We are staying here a few more days and hiring a car tomorrow.
