Monday 2 January – slow day in the rain

We woke up to torrential rain. It came in waves with a few big downpours all day long. The weather is a bit unusual and the wind is coming from a completely different direction, we think it is being influenced by the dramatic weather in America.

We really didn’t feel like moving in the rain, so we opted for a chill day in cool weather. A good time to get a few chores done. Poor Rowan had a poorly tummy so just as well to have a cool day to recover. It gave me a great opportunity to catch up on the blog with our trusty Stinky giving us such fast internet. It also meant we watched two episodes of White Lotus before going to bed which was very entertaining!
