By the time I had my second cup of morning tea the party boat had left, which was a relief. Not long after 9am Eben delivered his delicious bread, which was still hot out the oven. It was absolutely enormous. Eben told us the party boat was catering for backpackers.
It was a grey cloudy day but felt very hot without any wind. We went snorkelling at a couple of recommended dive sites. Scuba diving is banned, you can only snorkel here. The coral was very interesting and generally in great shape. The fish were pretty scarce and mainly small. It feels like it has been heavily fished.

Dark clouds over the main land

Luke is so disciplined doing his exercises. He managed to lap the boat a few times on the paddle board which was impressive.

We had a couple of hours chilling before going to Eben’s for another delicious meal. We had the ceviche again, followed by red snapper. Pudding was a chocolate brownie made from zucchini, squash we think. All very scrumptious. We had a very friendly tiny gecko that was on the table. He finally found some chocolate on Luke’s spoon, and his little pink tongue couldn’t get enough! We felt he was going to have the biggest sugar rush of his life!

We remembered to leave the lights on PolePole so we can find her in the dark!
So peaceful having the place to ourselves again. We spent an hour or so back on the trampoline admiring the stars. Too tired to wait up for the moon we were heading to bed by 8pm! It’s an early departure tomorrow to visit the river
