A gorgeous day, great for going to kite surfing school. The little beach near us is where the school is, Rowan, Luke and Phoebs have managed to get a 3 hour beginners lesson together. I’m not too keen on the thought of getting that amount of sea water in my nose, mouth and ears! Very happy to watch. It was a frenzy of activity on the water, with kite surfers, hydrofoils and hand held sails whizzing back and forth in front and back of PolePole. Rowan even had to tell one surfer off in the afternoon, as he sped passed and cleared the steps by about two feet. If we had been swimming it could have been tricky. They all had a wonderful 3 hours tuition from a Venezuelan guy, and there was great disappointment that they couldn’t get another lesson until the 27th.

Kite school

It was a recovery afternoon with Phoebe impressing us with her very energetic exercise regime, 20 mins of hit exercise followed by 10 laps of the boat in the water.

The boats are looking very Christmassy at night with their masts lit up.
