We left our anchorage after a late breakfast and decided to go and anchor in Carlisle Bay where we anchored last year. It means we will only have a short hop back to Jolly Harbour the next morning to finish off the remaining repairs.
Once we were way out we got all the sails back up and Rowan managed to get the last reef secured back in place, with the wind blowing hard we had a brief fast sail. We got the sails down before heading around the headland where it was pumping 36 knots. Very pleased we had got the sails down in time.

The amazing colour of the water leaving Jolly Harbour

Carlisle Bay with the big resort, we ate there last year, it is very nicely done even if big

There are so many yachts out and about, loads of charter boats. We were one of a couple of boats at Carlisle Bay last year, this time there were at least 10 boats. It took us 3 tries to get our anchor down securely, which was a bit testy in the wind, it was roaring over the hill and blowing us all over the place, but we finally got there.
We collapsed in a heap exhausted and enjoyed watching the last of the movie, One Night in Miami, which was produced by the owners of the boat Thula.

Magnificent sunset
