Heading south until we feel like stopping

We flushed the tanks and filled up with water, hoping the bleach had sorted out the bacteria. Gregory the floating fruit and veg man we gave a lift to Sufriere arrived promptly with our order of fresh produce. He was so funny he had shouted greetings to us across the water when we got back yesterday afternoon. I guess that we are his biggest sale this month, he came laden. Big potted plants of mint and basil, plus some ginger flowers, pawpaws, granadillas, bananas, local oranges and grapefruit, limes, lemons, pineapple, mangoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spring onions, squash, water melon…….all for £340 EC which is £90! He deserved it, it all looks amazing!

We then set off just pootling south, close to the coast with very little wind, engines on and making water.

Above is Pigeon island which is attached to Rodney bay, and is a National Trust site that we will have to visit when we return.

The resort side of Rodney bay

Passing Marigot Bay and our DooLittle restaurant

Above our little cove we walked to along a path from our Airbnb, you can just see a bit of it’s roof

We passed so many gorgeous remote unspoilt beaches

So nice to see the locals enjoying a lovely beach and not taken over by a resort

Lovely little fishing village, with a huge big church of course!

We picked our bay to stop at, Ti Kaye, it does have a resort and nothing else. the water is wonderfully clear and clean ideal for making water.

Enjoying a well earned sun downer

Eating on board, this resort is only open to international customers, us ‘locals’ are forbidden! Not complaining we had a delicious lamb chops on the BBQ. Our freezer is playing up again so we are eating everything with bones in, first!
