With my ear no better and no doctor on the island, we deiced we better head back to Grenada and try and get some antibiotics into my ear. The only thing that appealed to Rowan was that it was going to be a great sail down. After a leisurely breakfast we set off.

In his element sailing.
The sea looked quite rough but it was an incredibly smooth sail with the waves going in the same direction as us. We passed some stunning scenery, like Rowan said it was quite Fjord like. He was in his element to be on a good sail. yesterday had been a frustrating sail which had resorted to getting the engines on. Today was perfect winds and he had the sails up before I had even finished getting the anchor up.
Rowan had found a mooring at a marina on the south coast at a place called Le Phare Bleu. We finally got there at about 4pm and the marina guy came out to meet us in his dinghy to show us where to go. We were a bit dismayed to find we were to come in broadside in a tight spot between two big cats. We shouldn’t have been worried, Rowan nailed it and even the marina guy congratulated the captain! Rowan’s head was getting bigger and bigger, as the guy then raved about Pole Pole.

Great parallel parking!
It is a lovely little Marina which has gorgeous gardens and lovely little chalets. The restaurant is open tomorrow night, so it all looks very promising even though it has meant curtailing our sailing by a day. We had to come back Thursday anyway as another storm is due. Quite a lot of boats here that have been here over 3 months in lock down, apparently 5 boats heading back to Europe. Quite fun being sociable and having people to talk to again!
