A pretty slow day. The weather arrives, Rowan took a photo of the weather front arriving this morning, the kids will enjoy how much interest he takes in the clouds. They think he is a bit of a cloud nerd but it is amazing how much they tell!
We went for a good paddle in the canoe midday to get a bit of exercise, good distraction from my ear issues which are improving very slowly. We paddled behind islands only to find more and more hidden bays with gorgeous tiny white beaches. Sadly we took no photographs as I don’t dare carry my phone, we always think we are a bit vulnerable in our unsteady canoe.
Alia vita crew came for drinks in the evening to discuss their passage forward to the Bay of Islands. Frances assures me it is fine to have A gin and tonic on my antibiotics!
