Enjoying the calm blue waters of the Cays

A busy morning for Rowan down in the bowels of the boat. Our water maker has gone on the blink again which is always serious. Luckily we have a spare on board. Otherwise we had a couple of good snorkelling trips in the calm waters. Today we saw two cuttlefish, who were so cute, their tentacles out front are like elephant trunks sniffing about, and they have huge eyes. They kept a wary eye on us. There was an article in the paper today saying how clever they are, they passed the marshmallow test. It is a test done on kids – they give them a sweet and tell them if they wait they can have 2. Apparently the few who wait are the brightest. The same test was done on cuttlefish and they always waited to get the bigger reward!

Incredible where he fits into!

We went and had supper with Romeo, he was staying late as he had a huge Scandinavian birthday table who he had 10 lobsters for. We had spare ribs and the rest of the meal was identical to all his other meals, very tasty. The amazing thing is that the rays come swimming around the boats looking for scraps that the chefs chuck into the water. Today it was a beautiful Spotted Eagle Ray cruising up and down the beach.

Another gorgeous sunset
