Enjoying lazy days on Mustique

The morning was taken up with catching up on a bit of admin. Including signing up to get our Covid vaccine done in Bequia, we may be able to get it before the end of the month. Their vaccination take up at the medical centre does not use a full ampule each day, so they have a list of people who would like to take up the left over doses. We are on the list. We wonder if the take up is low because it is the Astrazeneca vaccine, judging from the French people we have met they wont touch it!

We went for a snorkel from the boat in the afternoon, there was plenty of fish life but sadly the water was very churned up from the wind, so visibility was not great. After that we headed to land and had a lovely walk along the beach and back through the mangrove trail . We found a built up path on the rocks around a promontory we had not spotted last time which was rather fun exploring. We had no idea what was going to be around the corner and we were amazed to find another gorgeous secluded beach. It was a lovely sunset walk as the heat had gone out of the day and was deliciously cool.

The island’s sunset cruise, returned pretty smartly when it hit the wind at the end of the island.
