A restful day

We decided not to go very far today but that I should focus on my instruction before Tom leaves. I managed to drive the boat down a very narrow passage in very shallow sands. Moored mid morning off David Copperfield’s private island. Did some lovely snorkelling in stag and elk horn coral with lovely fish, especially the Queen Triggerfish. We then went by dingy to find a cave mentioned in the book, we finally found it at a gorgeous hidden beach, but the best thing was seeing loads of turtles buzzing in and out of the lagoon with a rather large Barracuda very interested in our boat. I had a couple of hours driving instruction in GeldiGeldi at the marina nearby, which was totally empty thank goodness as reversing and going in the right direction escaped me. After 8 attempts at trying to docking gently, Tom correctly thought it was time to go home to Polepole. Glorious sunset with no one else anchored with us!
