Rowan had various boat chores to do and I had a mega laundry day and general clean up. Before we knew it the sun was setting. Gary and Kirsten invited us over for a drink as they depart for Barbuda tomorrow and then off home to the Azores before setting sail to Scotland. A true sea captain……drinks at 5:50! They have a lovely Dutch boat, 16 years old that they designed themselves. Amazingly it has a diesel fire burner inside with antique delft tiles around it. SO different from our boat.
We went and had a pizza at Mack’s afterwards, they were a delicious treat, a great change from the normal fare we have been eating.
