A move to calmer waters

Today’s excitement was an 8am visit from Sparrow telling us we had to move to a new buoy. As we were quite far out and in deeper water, our spot was needed by a bigger boat. The good news is that it will be less rolly in the calmer water behind the island. It’s a little nosier here as we are closer to the town. There is a little beach and it has been lovely watching the locals coming down to enjoy swimming and cavorting in the water…. lots of laughter.

Tucked between the mainland and Young Island, enjoying the awning.

The weather arrives and absolutely flattens the water.

Better view of the rocky outcrop in the sea.

The awning has been wonderful, it is lovely sitting out on the trampoline getting the breeze while having shade. Dark clouds arrived late afternoon with plenty of rain….. no sunset or stars for us tonight.

Last rays of light for the day. Weird patterns on the water, the current roars through the cut.
