A good bougainvillaea appreciation walk between the showers

A pretty wet start to the day, we finally managed to drag ourselves out for a lovely walk, a big loop around the houses on the headland opposite us, plenty of steep inclines to give us some real exercise. We are amazed at the steepness of some of the roads and driveways. There is so much vivid coloured bougainvillaea about making it a very colourful walk.

Looking back at our Airbnb among the rain forest

Everything seems to grow to extremes!

The Pink Palace with views over Marigot bay

The nearest cove is where we snorkelled, the further beach seems inaccessible.

Dense Rain forest on the other side of Marigot Bay, we are so glad there is no road through it to Doolittle restaurant.

Looking down at Marigot Bay, and DooLittle’s restaurant on the far side behind the palm trees.

A rack of lamb (NZ!) on the BBQ was a good way to end the day.
