We heard from our Beccles neighbours that it is good for our mental health to change our routine, so we decided to skip our morning walk and have a Sunday morning lie in and read the papers!
Then we moved, not far, onto the trampoline where we enjoyed a bit of a breeze under my newly rigged awning at the front of the boat.
The afternoon passed by very quickly with a joint call to all the kids, we finally got Han on line too, which was a great success talking to her in the dark, in the bush. She seems to be having a very busy time and working quite hard. Sadly the male lion has killed all the other cubs, patricide, which is obviously very sad. At least the leopard cubs are well.
The massive amount of water that has collected in Angola is heading towards the Okavango delta and should arrive in 5 days. They are trying to get in a lot of filming before then as it will be more difficult when the water arrives.
We decided to snorkel around the marina entrance for our afternoon exercise. Plenty of fish but the visibility was not that great. Barry, is the name we have given to the barracuda who has taken up residence under Pole Pole. If he is not under us, he hovers over a small submersed buoy about 5 meters away or under the gap in the jetty. Rowan imagines that he thinks the buoy is a lovely fat lady friend!

Barry under the jetty!
That about sums up today’s excitement, which was spiced up just before we went to bed by the news that Boris Johnson has been admitted to hospital because he is not getting better. Yikes!
