After breakfast we headed further north to a big bay that we stayed at last time we were up here. It just has a couple of local caretakers at an abandoned resort. Midday we went for a snorkel where Rowan had gone last time, I couldn’t because of my ear infection. It was another hot day, brilliantly sunny and no wind, absolutely perfect for a spectacular snorkel. The coral and fish life were in great condition….. sadly forgot our GoPro again. The sun makes the coral colours look so brilliant. There were long coral canyons running into the sea from the beach which were so impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed a really long snorkel. That was enough exercise for one day!

The reef with the canyons running from the beach, the lighter blue area

Carol and Tim are loving Fiji, and can’t think why they have not been here before

The lovely bay with the abandoned resort, with a fluffy white ball of a cloud

Very few boats, we had the coral reef all to ourselves

The sunset colours never cease to amaze me
