After a very hairy narrow outlet between the islands to get out to sea we left the Excuma chain of Islands. There was a fury of water cauldron-ing away in the narrow outlet between the current coming through with the tide making it very hairy to steer through. out in the more open sea it was pretty windy and choppy, we got some good sailing but had to end banging into the wind with the motors. Georgetown is set halfway up a channel between to islands. There were hundreds of boats anchored along the sheltered island, so we were relieved to find our marina and that it was pretty empty. Our marina is called choppy and it certainly is. Amusingly it has loads of signs claiming to be home to McAfee the cyber security guy on the run from the American authorities!

Had delicious conch fritters and coconut grouper at Shirley’s, a very local little restaurant shack.
