Getting out of Miami

Sailed south to Miami to pick up Hannah and to avoid the wrong winds blowing down the Gulf Stream. We faced huge waves getting out to sea from the river, skilfully dodging tankers! Decided it was too choppy to do crossing today, so instead stayed just off Miami. Picked up princess Hannie Greta-Thunberg style. Stayed on anchorage until 10 pm to begin long, overnight adventure from Miami to the Biminis- some serious wave banging action! Us lucky ladies stayed in our luxurious beds while Rowan and Mike (our boat handover guy) faced the fury in the dark. Pretty epic!
