There was heavy rain during the night, we woke up to grey skies. Rowan, Kim and Claudette left at 8am to go diving, I had planned to join them for a snorkel but declined when I saw the weather. The wind really picked up and the anchorage picked up a lot of swell. I bounced around all morning getting a few chores done, like making bread and yogurt. Sorted out the fridges and generally got a bit of admin done. Rowan was back by mid morning, they had waited to see if the conditions improved but gave up and abandoned the dive, it was way too choppy and dark cloudy skies would not be great for visibility either. They were going to dive on a US amphibious bomber plane, a Catalina wreck from WW2, the second dive was looking for nudibranchs, a kind of colourful sea slug. Hopefully they can try again on Tuesday.
We stayed on board all day, at least it was lovely and cool. We made a delicious mushroom curry dish for supper, made from the ingredients we bought at the market yesterday.
