The morning started quite gently but the wind was definitely picking up and the water was choppy, not great for snorkelling. Kane called on the radio to see if Rowan wanted to go and look for coconuts. I volunteered to look after Quinn, so they paddled over in their canoe, which Quinn loves. I was going to do laundry but it turned out that our washing machine thought it was not stationary enough. So annoying, we are hoping that Catana gets the problem resolved at the boatyard in Tahiti. So in between cuddling Quinn and getting the Dyson fan out for him as he does find it hot, it was a long old paddle from their boat in the blazing sun, I made some humous and crudities for lunch. Quinn enjoyed the carrot sticks. The men found quite a few coconuts which they cleaned off and drained the liquid out of them, tomorrow the plan is to cut them open.
It clouded over in the afternoon and a squall hit while Rowan was having his Sunday post lunch sleep. The wind howled and we had a huge downpour which was rather refreshing and cooled things down. I never managed to get off the boat today, amazing how the day slips by.

Our resident fish gang, enjoying the scraps from Kane’s raisin cake. The big silver fish is a Remora, you can see the big suction pad on his head, for attaching himself to sharks and the bottom of PolePole!
