We were all put onto various tasks which seemed to take up most of the day. Widge and I were put on dingy cover duty. The whole cover was coming off and not staying on so I decided to rethread with elastic rope to try and make it tighter. It took a lot longer than we expected but we finally got there mid afternoon after a lot of sewing and tugging! The men were all on boat scrubbing duties which was much needed.
The day whizzed by and in the evening we had the American boat Renegade and the Swedish boat Hoka Hey over for drinks. There are 5 Swedish boats in the World Arc fleet. It was good to meet some of the fleet properly, even if it did put a dent in my gin supplies! We had a late bbq, it looked like a giant lamb chop but was a piece of beef, along with Widge’s delicious mixed veg.

Loads of the Arc fleet join us at the anchorage.
