Rowan and Matt went diving with Kylie further up the coast at the Cliff site, which was good although one of the tanks wasn’t working properly and they had to take it in turns. Rowan reckons all the faff of the equipment is just not worth it here as the snorkelling is so good.
Stella and I returned to town to buy sim cards, I went and had a couple of hours in a wonderful air conditioned Italian coffee shop, doing my blog while Stella looked around the shops and went for a swim.
In the afternoon Rowan scrubbed the underneath of PolePole with the snuba while Matt and Stella did the sides. My ears are a bit funky, so I had a good excuse to get out of that and tried to catch up finally on the blog.
In the evening we went and had a meal at a Brazilian restaurant in the back streets that was very busy, it was fun, but rather overpriced for cooking your own food on the hot griddle they brought to the table.
Once we were back at PolePole a Catamaran appeared cruising up and down in the dark. We finally got their attention and they gratefully accepted Rowan and Matts help in finding a buoy. It was an older German couple on a big cat that had just arrived from Guadeloupe. The deaf skipper was clearly extremely competent the way he weaved his way through the lines of boats in the dark, following JeldiJeldi.
