What a brilliant night’s sleep! I was asleep by 8:30 pm and did not wake up until Rowan brought tea at 7:30am, 11 hours sleep without budging! I definitely needed it, we had 4 hectic days to recover from.
We were still having tea in bed when we heard someone calling and remembered we had ordered a garlic/herb focaccia bread from Aden. He had arrived with an enormous quarter section, which was delicious with our breakfast. We cut the rest up and put in the deep freeze as it will toast very well.

Aden’s enormous, delicious focaccia bread
We spent the whole day doing chores. I did a deep clean of our hull, this means wiping every surface, including walls. Santa Marta has a coal harbour next to the marina and every surface is covered in 7 months of sticky dust. There was still plenty to sort out and put away, it was a very busy day. I’m ever so grateful to my Shark hoover, a Dyson rip off, but so much better!
We cooled down with an evening swim in our glorious surroundings and once more flaked out early.

A shame to be working down below in scenery like this!
