Heavenly Snorkelling

We had nothing on the agenda today but to snorkel in Jaques Cousteau’s Underwater reserve. As long as we looked towards Pigeon island the sky was blue! It was wonderful conditions as there was no wind and plenty of sunshine. We were so happy to see so much fish life, just shows what happens when the reserves have no fishing allowed. Most of the coral looked pretty healthy too. We had a great time and saw fish we haven’t seen before, very eel like. Sadly Rowan forgot his gopro in the morning, but when we went back in the afternoon he got some great shots when we were on the other side of the island, particularly of the huge school of Blue Tang. We fed the fish some bread and they nearly ripped my finger off! In the afternoon we also went to a dive spot along the mainland which had the most stunning colour water too and plenty of fish.

Can’t get enough of the colour

Another great sunset to round off a very chilled day of snorkelling.
