Sunday catch up

Catching up with family and Sunday papers took most of the morning. It was a late start to the day too, I think I can blame the rosé for that. We took JeldiJeldi to the dinghy dock at the start of St Margaret’s beach and walked the length of the beach, then up and over to to the far end of Lower Bay beach where we finally found Dawn’s cafe, tucked behind some houses away from the beach. We had read good reviews about this tiny local cafe and we were not disappointed. We had delicious grilled red snapper and a great chicken curry. The table of local men next door were drinking their own 85% proof rum! We declined their offer to join in. The rain chased us under cover, the mango tree was just not quite dense enough to keep us dry, but the 85 percenters didn’t even notice. We stopped and had a little relax on the beach on the way back, great to people watch and see all the locals enjoying the beach. We returned to PolePole for a stunning sunset.
