Amazingly Devon was back on a Sunday to do the final wax! We persuaded them to give us a hand getting out of our concrete berth and to anchor out in prickly bay about 300m away, where we could catch a bit of a breeze. They were very happy, so we joined a huge amount of boats out in Prickly Bay. They were soon finished waxing, we gave them a lift back in Jeldi Jeldi who thankfully fired up first time with only a little WD40 required. The boat looked fantastic. The morning flew by with final unpacking, finding space to put all the parts and endless bits needed for the boat. Rowan tried fixing the water pump leak with sealing tape, but sadly no success.

We decided to take the afternoon off as it was boiling hot, and we did not have much energy left. We got my huge new awning I made out. Sadly it is a bit too big and will need some tinkering but gave us welcome shade on the trampoline which is where all the breeze is. So a good afternoon catch up of the Sunday papers.
